John Abdub Wako is a holder of Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Management from Moi University, Eldoret, Kenya.

Jerusha Kananu Marete is a writer, drama and film enthusiast, and an English and literature teacher. She is a graduate from the University of Nairobi and is currently pursuing her masters in Literature at Kenyatta University.

He is also the Executive Director of Filip Consulting, a media and development communications firm that is headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya. He lives in Lagos, Nigeria.

Hillary Lisimba Ambani is an avid reader and writer. He studied Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Nairobi. He has worked as a producer at Kenya Broadcasting Corporation and Flave Media in Tanzania. The Boy with Shoes is his first in a series of five books that revolve around the intricacies of what it means to be in a country that is always almost taking off but never does.
