Their union weathers the storm of being from different social backgrounds, only for their happiness to be shattered when Rose Terri is brutally attacked by masked assailants on her way home from meeting her high school friend, Irene. She dies on the operating table, leaving Kenny heartbroken, but his devastation is worsened by the shocking revelation that would change everything: the identity of Rose Terri’s killer.
Kenny finds solace in the company of Rose Terri’s sister, Grace, with whom they honour Rose Terri’s memory by getting married and starting a new life.
