The move comes as a response to the decreasing value of the Kenya shilling, thus high inflation rate affecting the cost of services.
Kenya, 15 May 2023; Mystery Publishers Limited appreciates your continued support. In our endeavour to continue redefining African stories and providing quality and professional author services, we shall increase the cost of all our products and services by an average of 8.6% in response to the inflation rate in Kenya, according to the latest Central Bank of Kenya data.
The increased prices shall apply to all author services provided by the Publisher, except printing costs which shall be determined by the printing services providers the Publisher works with and the submission fee to the Afrika Redefined Indie Book Prize. However, the increase shall not apply to the payments made to the participants of the ‘Our Stories Redefined Anthology’.
The revised prices will be effective WEF 01 July 2023.
